Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status (ASAPS) Grade I, II and III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy 2. Patient refusal. 3. Patients with evidence of arrhythmias and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea. 4. Body Mass Index(BMI) >35kg/m2 5. Chronic sedative use. 6. Known psychiatric illness. 7. Allergy to any of the above mentioned drugs used in the study.

to access the sedation score using OAA/S scaleTimepoint: post instillation every 15 minutes for 1 hour and post procedure evey 15 minutes for half an hour

to access the reduction in consumption of primary drugs at end of procedureTimepoint: time calculated from insertion of scope till its removal
