Intervention1: Drugs given as premedication: 2 separate drugs were given 1 hour prior to induction of anaesthesia and their efficacy evaluated in patients undergoing lumbar laminectomy surgery.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients willing to comply with the post-operative follow up evaluations.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Known allergy to any of study medications Renal insufficiency, peptic ulcer disease or history of bleeding diathesis or liver disease.
