Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age �18 years 1. Female 2. Invasive carcinoma of the breast 3. ECOG performance status 0-2 4. Locally advanced breast cancer which is not amenable to curative surgery as decided by multidisciplinary tumour board. 5. Metastatic breast cancer patients: 6. Who are awaiting palliative locoregional radiotherapy for symptom (pain bleeding, ulceration, impending fungation) control. 7. Who have completed a scheduled course of palliative chemotherapy and is felt to benefit from local radiation therapy 8. Able to give informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Breast reconstruction using implants 2. Concurrent cyto-toxic chemotherapy 3. Prior radiation to the chest wall / breast
