Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.All patients above the age of 12 years undergoing elective laparoscopic appendectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.All patients with symptoms, signs and radiological investigations suggestive of appendicular base perforation, abscess, local peritonitis, mass formation. 2.Laparoscopic appendicectomy converting to open appendicectomy.
