Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: GROUP I ASA grade I , grade II Non pregnant females between age 20 & 40 years posted for surgery under spinal anaesthesia. GROUP II ASA grade I , grade II Full term parturients with no preeclmpsia posted for caesarian section under spinal anaesthesia between age 20 & 40 years GROUP III Full term parturients with pre eclampsia posted for caesarian section under spinal anesthesia between age 20 & 40 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients refusal for spinal anesthesia Uncooperative patients Neurological disorder or history of seizure Spinal anomaly Low back pain Sepsis or skin infection at puncture site Drug allergies or sensitivity to bupivacaine Coagulopathy Platelet Oliguria of less than 500 ml in 24 hour or persistently 30 ml/hour Haemodynamic instability Any contraindication to spinal anaesthesia Hb Liver, renal cardiac, endocrinal diseases Hypertension due to any other cause than preeclampsia Generalized oedema due to any other cause than pregnancy or preeclampsia Receiving steroids Eclampsia,impending eclampsia, HELLP syndrome cerebral or visual abnormalities Severe fetal distress Multiparous pregnancy
