Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients willing to sign the consent form. 2. Patients between the age group of 20-60 years of either sex. 3. Diagnosed and confirmed cases of Dyslipidemia in Diabetes Mellitus Type II patients (based on NCEP-Adult treatment panel III guideline) Total Cholesterol (TC) > 200 mg/dl, Triglyceride (TG) > 150 mg/dl, Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) > 130 mg/dl, High Density Lipoprotein (HDL)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients having Type - DM I [IDDM] 2. Patient of type II DM who are on Insulin therapy. 3. DM with Coronary Artery Diseases (CAD), Malignancy or any other serious illness. 4. DM with serious complications. 5. Diabetes Insipidus. 6. Drug induced DM. 7. Fasting Blood Sugar >140mg/dl. 8. Postprandial Blood Sugar >200mg/dl. 9. Uncontrolled Hypertension (systolic blood pressure >150 mm of Hg and /or Diastolic blood pressure >100 mm of Hg).
