Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Age between 20-60 years. 2 Weight between 50 to 100 kgs. 3 Height between 150 to 180 cms.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients in whom spinal anaesthesia is contraindicated. 2 Patients with spine deformity and patients who have undergone previous spine surgeries. 3 Pregnant patients. 4 Unwillingness for study.

MeasureTime frame
To determine the correlation of level of sensory block with 1 Abdominal girth 2 Vertebral column length 3 VCL/(AG)2 (vertebral column length/ (abdominal girth)2 ). Timepoint: To assess the level of sensory block at 5 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins and 20 min after spinal anaesthesia.
