Intervention1: Group D- Dexmedetomidine: patients were given a bolus of intravenous dexmedetomidine 1mcg/kg followed by an infusion of 0.5mcg infusion throughout intraoperatively Control Intervention1

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA 1 patients undergoing General anaesthesia for laparoscopic surgery. 2. Duration of anaesthesia 3. Patients giving valid consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Emergency surgeries 2. Hemodynamically unstable patients 3. Pregnant women 4. Chronic heavy smokers and alcoholic 5. Difficult airway 6. Obesity, BMI >35
