Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Of the patients implanted with MAC 60, Sensar, Rayner, SN 60WF, SA 60AT or Technis Monofocal IOLs (those who had a postoperative best corrected visual acuity of 6/6 N6 and no other ocular pathologies were selected.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (a) patients who have been not been advised cataract surgery (b) patients who have glaucoma (c) patients diagnosed as macular degeneration.

Comparison between visual performances under bright (photopic) and dim (mesopic) conditions in patients who had undergone uncomplicated cataract extraction with different types of monofocal intraocular lens (IOL) implantation using contrast sensitivity measurement.Timepoint: 12 Months

At 3 weeks after surgery, the monocular contrast sensitivity function was measured using Pelli Robson Contrast Sensitivity measurement chart at one photopic luminance level and one mesopic luminance levels.Timepoint: At 3 weeks after surgery, the monocular contrast sensitivity function was measured using Pelli Robson Contrast Sensitivity measurement chart at one photopic luminance level and one mesopic luminance levels.
