Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged between 17 and 60, with medically intractable epilepsy and a well-defined lesion on MRI, scheduled to undergo surgical resection of the epileptogenic focus with the use of ECoG guidance under general anaesthesia will be enrolled.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: We will exclude patients with a history of hypertension, arrhythmias, ischemic heart disease, morbid obesity, pregnancy or known allergy to the drugs used.
