Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Those with an established diagnosis of Epilepsy. 2. Patients, who are not benefited by taking other medicines, will be included without disturbing their regular medicines. 3. Frequency of attack less than 2 months. 4. Patients having symptoms of Apasmara as described in Ayurvedic classic.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Recent history of alcoholism and drug abuse. 2. Patients with diabetes mellitus, hypertension, congenital abnormalities, hepatic, renal, cardiac or endocrine disease. 3. Mental retardation, infectious diseases of brain, vascular causes, toxic causes and metabolic causes of seizures. 4. Pregnancy and lactating mother.
