Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Body mass index (BMI) greater than or equal to 23 kg/m2 (India-specific BMI cut point for overweight) or 2.Waist circumference greater than or equal to 90 cm if male and 80 cm if female (India-specific cut points for abdominal adiposity)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Self-report of any condition/illness like 1.Diabetes 2.Severe kidney disease 3.Cardiovascular disease (coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease) 4.History of stroke, cancer 5.Severe psychological disorders (schizophrenia, dementia) 6. Hypothyroidism 7. Pregnant and lactating women
