Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)ASA grade I and II 2)Age between 18 to 65 years 3)Patients scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia for any lesion in the breast benign or malignant

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients with history of allergy to local anaesthetics 2)Patients with severe renal,hepatic,respiratory,cardiac,neurologic disorders 3)patients with history of opiod,cocaine abuse 4)Patients on anticoagulants 5)Patients with psychiatric illness

1)To find out whether levobupivacaine is better than ropivacaine in interpleural block in providing longer duration of analgesia in patients undergoing breast surgery 2)Total number of rescue analgesics required in post -operative 24 hours by patients of each group 3)Total no of times fentanyl was givenn intraoperatively after induction in each group Timepoint: 1)To find out whether levobupivacaine is better than ropivacaine in interpleural block in providing longer duration of analgesia in patients undergoing breast surgery 2)Total number of rescue analgesics required in post -operative 24 hours by patients of each group 3)Total no of times fentanyl was givenn intraoperatively after induction in each group
