Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment less than 1 month duration 2)Patients undergoing primary vitro-retinal surgery 3)Patients with proliferative vitro-retinopathy(PVR) 4)Phakic or pseudophakic eyes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients with proliferative vitro retinopathy(PVR) >grade C2 2)Patients having undergone previous vitro-retinal surgery 3)Aphakic eyes 4)Patients not willing to be included 5)inability to follow up
