Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Subjects of either gender aged between 18-60 years undergoing ORIF 2. Willingness to give informed consent and to be available for follow-up

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Cases of open fracture, delayed primary or secondary closure procedures 2. Cases already on antimicrobials 3. Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus 4. Immunocompromised cases 5. Smokers
