Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with active fibrovascular proliferation due to proliferative diabetic retinopathy with or without tractional retinal detachment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (a) patients below 18 years of age (b) dense vitreous haemorrhage (c) history of thromboembolic event or heart attack.

To document the changes at vitreo retinal interface by spectral domain optical coherence tomography, in patients with PDR after intravitreal Bevacizumab injection.Timepoint: 12 Months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To determine any decrease in intra and post operative complication in patients with preoperative adjuvant bevacizumab injection and visual outcome in these patients.Timepoint: 12 Months
