Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with pseudoexfoliation advised for phacoemulsification surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (a) previous vitreo-retinal surgery (b) previous history of trauma to eyes (c) other causes of zonular weakness except that due to pseudoexfoliation

MeasureTime frame
To study the intra operative complications and postoperative outcome of phacoemulsification in patients with pseudoexfoliation.Timepoint: 12 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The patients will be followed up for one year after phaco surgery for any evidence of pseudoexfoliation.Timepoint: 12 Months
