Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Male and female subjects within the age group of 18-45 years. 2.Subjects with good general health. 3.Patients with good oral hygiene. 4.Horizontal ridge defect with buccolingual dimension of less than or equal to 3mm 5.Edentulous ridges with one to four teeth missing. 6.Horizontal ridge deficiency at the level of alveolar crest.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Subjects with compromised medical history that would complicate the outcome of the study. 2.Subjects who are smokers, alcoholics and tobacco chewers. 3.Women who are expecting or lactating mothers. 4.Patients on drug therapy which can affect the outcome

It will be evaluated after 4 months of the procedure.

MeasureTime frame
The patients experienced reduced discomfort, pain and swelling after the surgical procedureTimepoint: Low Level Laser Therapy was given to the patients from the second day of the surgery and for a time period of 2 weeks comprising of 8 sessions. the same is evaluated after 4 months of the procedure in terms of healing.
