Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: . Age between 15-90 years 2. Patients subjected for CBCT investigation 3. Patients of both the sexes with dentulous and partially edentulous 4. CBCT scan of patients having images of anterior mandible and at least 2 cm distal to mental foramen, up to the lower cortical border bilaterally as well as unilaterally. 5. CBCT scans containing the mandibular first molar and IAN

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with pathological lesions that could affect the position of the mandibular canal and the mental foramen like periapical abscess, cyst tumor, fracture line, implant in mental foramen, osteoradionecrosis, giant cell lesion, dense bone island.
