Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients having age between 20 to 60 years According to the NCEP Adult Treatment Panel III guideline revised in 2005 the presence of any three of the following five factors are required for a diagnosis of metabolic syndrome 2 Abdominal obesity waist circumference more than 90 cm in men and more than 80 cm in women 3 Hypertriglyceridemia S Triglycerides level 150 to 600 mg dl 4 Low HDL cholesterol S HDL cholesterol less than 40 mg dl for men and less than 50 mg dl for women 5 Elevated blood pressure Systolic blood pressure 130 to 139 mmHg and or diastolic blood pressure 85 to 90 mmHg 6 Impaired fasting glucose Fasting plasma glucose 100 to 125mg dl
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 Age below 20 and above 60 years 2 Patients suffering from diabetes mellitus hypertension and taking anti diabetic and antihypertensive or anti hyperlipidemic drugs 3 Systemic illness like Tuberculosis Carcinoma and Endocrine disorders like Kushing syndrome Hypothyroidism 4 Patient having the past history of MI & Unstable Angina 5 Patient having clinical features of congestive cardiac failure 6 Patient having the major renal or liver disorder
