Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients undergoing bariatric surgery Patient with BMI >35 kg/m2 (Indian Population: ICMR Guideline) Age >18 years and Patients fit for general anaesthesia Psychologically stable patient.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age 65 years Alcoholic patients Psychologically unstable patient Patients unfit for general anaesthesia due to cardiac, respiratory or any other reason.

To study the Change in transient elastography pattern in morbidly obese patients with non alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) after having bariatric surgeryTimepoint: 30days, 90 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the pre-operative transient elastography with intraoperative visual liver score. To compare the pre-operative transient elastography with intraoperative liver biopsy. To correlate the intra-operative visual liver score with intraoperative biopsy. Timepoint: 30days, 90 days
