Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All post-operative patients who undergoes laparoscopic ventral hernia repair with mesh fixation All patients of age >18 years and

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients of age 60 years. Pregnant and lactating patients Patients having a stoma. Patients with severe respiratory or cardiac co-morbidities (ASA: III- V). Patients having active infection, sinus or fistula at hernia site Hernia size defect size of more than 10 cm. BMI more than 30kg/m2

Asses the short term recurrences after laparoscopic ventral hernia repair using tackers for mesh fixation. Intraoperative and early post-operative outcomes, in terms of pain, complications, postoperative stayand quality of life. Cost analysis in terms of number of tackers used for mesh fixation. Timepoint: 1 month, 3 month
