Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All consecutive neonates admitted in the unit fulfilling following criteria will be included in the study: 1.Gestational age >= 35 weeks 2.Postnatal age >= 3 days. 3.Two TSB level taken 8-16 hours apart falling in the phototherapy range as per the NICE guidelines and second TSB value being less than or equal to the previous value.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Neonates with gross congenital malformation 2.Neonates who received phototherapy prior to admission 3.Neonates requiring exchange transfusion prior to enrollment 4.Neonates with Encephalopathy
