Health Condition 1: null- Patients of age 18-50 years of either gender, undergoing elective heart valve surgeries under cardiopulmonary bypass.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing elective heart valve surgeries under cardiopulmonary bypass.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with deranged acid base metabolism pre-operatively. 2. Patients undergoing surgery for complex congenital heart diseases. 3. Patients with renal dysfunction (serum creatinine >1.5mg%).
