Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade I and II, having BMI <=30kg/m2 and standard airway parameters within normal range, scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have anticipated difficult airway and modified Mallampati class III or IV 2. Haemodynamic instability, hypertion, morbid obesity, cardiac, renal, hepatic, endocrine, pulmonary dysfunction, upper respiratory tract infection. 3. Cervical spine instability. 4. Pregnancy
