Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients 18 - 65 years 2. Disease conditions: TBI, SAH 3. TBI: [a] patients admitted to ICU and requiring pharmacological support to manage blood pressure. [b] both operated and non-operated 4. SAH: [a] anterior circulation aneurysms-ruptured [b] operated patients [c] requiring pharmacological therapy for BP augmentation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Penetrating head injury 2. No expected change in Systolic blood pressure inspite of maximum dose of Norepinephrine (not to exceed 0.5mcg/kg/min in our study) 3. Poor intracranial acoustic window

To study changes in cerebral haemodynamics following augmentation of Cardiac Output and Blood Pressure in patients of Traumatic brain injury and Subarachnoid haemorrhage.Timepoint: (1)before starting noradrnaline (2) At 20% increase in systolic blood pressure (3) At 40% increase in systolic blood pressure
