Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing off pump coronary artery bypass graft surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of cerebrovascular accident with persistent neurological residue Unilateral occlusion of carotid artery Combined cardiac procedures Left ventricular ejection fraction less then 30 percent Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus Left main coronary artery disease or LMCA equivalent disease Serum creatinine more than 2mg per dl Conversion to on pump

Primary

MeasureTime frame
regional cerebral oxygen saturation or central venous oxygen saturation which can better predict time to extubation in patients undergoing OPCABG.Timepoint: Both parameters were recorded as baseline values, preincision, after sternotomy, after each graft, after sternal closure and on shifting to ICU.—

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To see if heart rate, mean arterial pressure, partial pressure of oxygen in arterial blood could individually predict time to extubation in patients undergoing OPCABG.Timepoint: All parameters were recorded as baselines, preincision, after sternotomy, after each graft, after sternal closure and on shifting to ICU.—
