Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients undergoing superficial surgery under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: pregnancy emergency surgeries uncontrolled co morbidities active URTI/LRTI

Extubation response once the surgery is completeld, starting from after reversal of neuromuscular blockadeTimepoint: Extubation response recorded every 2 minutes after giving reversal till the removal of the tube to a maximum of 15 minutes.
