Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Forty-five children of ASA status I-II between the age group of 1-8 years scheduled for elective infra-umbilical surgery under general anaesthesia during the study period (May 2014 to December 2014) were assessed for eligibility.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with history of respiratory or neurological disease were excluded from this study
