Interventions

Intervention1: 1. Mulligan Mobilization with movement. 2. Exercises. 3. Hot water formentation: 1. Manual therapy intervention involving specific accesory movements followed by physiological movement.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Both genders, 2. VAS: 4 - 8 3. Knee pain more than 3 months 4. Willing to participate in study, 5. Kellgren and Lawrence system of classification Grade 1, 2 and 3. 6. Able to sit to stand and lie down on stomach.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Recent lower limb fractures, 2. Neurological conditions, 3. Contraindication to manual therapy, 4. Post traumatic osteoarthritis knee, 5. Previous Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) or scheduled for TKA 6. Uncontrolled hypertension 7. Radiating leg pain 8. BMI < 30.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.Western Ontario McMaster University Osteoarthritis index (WOMAC).Timepoint: 2 week, 3 months, 6 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Time measured with Time up and go test. 2. Knee range of motion in prone 3. Pain intensity on VAS over past 24 hours. 4. Pain intensity on VAS while sit to stand. 5. Time measured with 12 step stair test 6. Patient satisfaction on NRS in percentage Timepoint: 2 week, 3 months, 6 months
