Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia in age group of 3 to 15 years were enrolled. We thus conducted our study in normal paediatric population without obvious anomalies of face, neck and airway to validate the formulae.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients requiring emergency surgical procedures 2)Children with obvious anomalies of airway, neck swelling, facial anomalies, restricted mouth opening and cleft lip
