Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. To observe the effect of N-acetylcysteine (600 mg twice a day) on biomarkers of oxidative stress and inflammation on patients with high flux and low flux HD. 2. To observe the effect of N-acetylcysteine (600 mg twice a day) on endothelial function in patients undergoing high and low flux hemodialysis. Timepoint: 0,4,12weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Tolerability of NAC.Timepoint: 0,4,12weeks
