Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Paediatric patients of category ASA grade I of 2-10 years age. 2. Patients posted for elective surgery under general anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients posted for elective surgery under regional anaesthesia. 2.Patients with hepatic impairment. 3.Patients with renal insufficiency. 4.Patients with active URI.

Primary Outcome measure: Incidence of ED at the time of recovery from Anaesthesia. Secondary outcome measure: Duration of PACU stay. Timepoint: Incidence of ED up to 20 minutes after recovery from anesthesia
