Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients willing to sign the consent form for trial 2 The patients aged between 16 â?? 70 years were selected 3 The patients having clinical signs and symptoms of Vatika Grahani and I B S as per Rome III criteria that is symptoms of recurrent abdominal pain or discomfort and a marked change in bowel habit for at least 6 months with symptoms experienced on at least 3 day/month in the last 3 months associated with two or more of the following I Pain is relieved by defecation. II Onset associated with change of frequency of stools III Onset associated with change in form (appearance) of stools

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Mixed infection with parasites like round worms, hook worms etc 2 Patients with bleeding per Rectum. 3 Patients with evidence of malignancy. 4 Patients having concomitant illness like HTN, DM-II, Amoebic dysentery, Ulcerative colitis, Malabsorption syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases & Intestinal tuberculosis, Lactase deficiency diarrhoea 5 Patients suffering from major systemic illness with corticosteroids, antidepressants, anticholinergics, or any other drugs that may have an influence on the outcome of the study 6 Alcoholics and drug abusers 7 Pregnant or lactating women 8 Patients who have completed participation in any other clinical trial during the past six months

Patients of either sex 16-70 yr old diagnosed with Grahani (Irritablle Bowel Syndrome) will be selected for relief in sign and symptoms.Timepoint: 30 days
