Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All patients of age >20 years and 2. Good performance status and ASA-1

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients of age 70 years. 2. Females in reproductive age group 3. Patients with lateral hernias. 4. Patients having a stoma with parastomal hernias. 5. Patients with severe respiratory or cardiac co-morbidities(patients with ASA grade 3/4/5) 6. Patients having active infection, sinus or fistula at hernia site related to previous surgery.

MeasureTime frame
Ability, efficiency of CT scan based component separation index in deciding necessity of component separation technique for repair of large ventral hernias.Timepoint: 3months post operative

MeasureTime frame
Preoperative diagnosis and severity assessment of large Ventral Hernias and diagnosis with assessment of postoperative complication and outcome.Timepoint: 0-6months
