Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: cases: 1) Patients consenting to take part in the study. 2) All male patients who developed acne after 20 years of age. controls: 1) Age matched patients without acne.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients who are not consenting for the study. 2) Cases and controls with history of smoking, known liver disorders, malignancies, thyroid disorders, cushing syndrome, acromegaly 3) Patients who had taken treatment with isotretinoin in the previous 1 year.
