Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who report with pain to the out-patient department. They may be 18 to 70 years old and systemically healthy patients of either sex who have not used analgesic or an anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for 24 hours before the study began

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who have taken analgesic or NSAIDâ??s within the preceding 24 hours, teeth with full-coverage crowns, recent trauma, calcified pulp chambers, or calcified root canals and patients undergoing active orthodontic treatment
