Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Skeletal Class II malocclusion 2) Class II molar relationship with overjet larger than 5mm 3) Positive clinical visual treatment objective

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients having facial muscular problems. 2) High FMA. 3) Patients having temporomandibular joint dysfunction. 4) Full coverage dental restorations or tooth replacement.

Patient with class II malocclusion succesfully treated and class I occlusion obtainedTimepoint: T0-at the time of appliance delivery to the patient. T1-at the end of 6 months of treatment.—

Masticatory efficieny and occlusal contacts decreased immediately after appliance removalTimepoint: T0-at the time of appliance delivery to the patient T1-at the end of six months of treatment.—
