Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. 100 patients of either sex 2. Having senile cataract ( >40 years) graded as per LOCS III grading 3. Having undergone uncomplicated phacoemulsification surgery with foldable IOL 4. Surgery done using 2.8mm incision
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Eye infection 2. Recent contact lens use 3. Lid abnormalities 4. Pterygium 5. Glaucoma 6. Corneal opacity 7. Uveitis or other inflammatory eye diseases 8. Complicated cataract 9. Previous ocular surgery 10. Traumatic cataract 11. Diabetes or any other systemic cause of cataract 12. Irregular Astigmatism 13. Patients refusing consent for the study.
