Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with carcinoma breast who are candidates for modified radical mastectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having any of the following: 1. Recipients of corticosteroids/ immunoglobulins within past 4 weeks 2. Pregnancy 3. Coagulation disorders. 4. Cushings disease. 5. Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus. 6. Gastritis/ gastrointestinal ulceration 7. Severe hepatic/ renal impairment. 8. Osteoporosis. 9. Immunocompromised states. 10.Glaucoma 11.Severe systemic bacterial, viral or fungal infections. 12. Preoperative deranged cell counts, C- reactive protein or cytokine profile
