Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA 1 and 2 patients undergoing elective surgery under general anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients having orbital tumors hyperthyroidism optic neuritis pregnancy and lactaion glaucoma abnormal liver functions respiratory dysfunctions central nervous system dysfunction hypotension were excluded

EVALUATION OF THE EFFECT OF POSITIVE END-EXPIRATORY PRESSURE AND END-TIDAL CARBON DIOXIDE ON OPTIC NERVE SHEATH DIAMETER AS AN INDIRECT PREDICTOR OF INTRACRANIAL PRESSURE.Timepoint: The parameters will be recorded 5 minutes after PEEP settings at 0, 8,12,15 cm H2O with EtCO2 between 38-42 mmHg and also after 5 min of EtCO2 settings 35-37, 32-34, 29-31 mmHg with PEEP zero.

MeasureTime frame
Systolic blood pressure , diastolic blood pressure, Mean arterial pressure, heart rate and SpO2 will be noted. Timepoint: Systolic blood pressure , diastolic blood pressure, mean arterial pressure, heart rate and SpO2 will be recorded at baseline, after induction, after intubation, 5 minutes after PEEP settings at 0, 8,12,15 cm H2O with EtCO2 between 38-42 mmHg and also after 5 min of EtCO2 settings 35-37, 32-34, 29-31 mmHg with PEEP zero.
