Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: BMI range 18.5 to 30 kg/m2, Prediabetic- FBS: 100-125 mg/dl, PPBS: 140-199mg/dl, HbA1C: 5.7-6.4

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of Hypertension,hyperlipidemia,heart disease, any chronic illness. History of whey protein allergy Inability to excercise

Muscle quality (muscle mass/muscle function) in prediabeticTimepoint: Pre (baseline) and Post intervention (12 weeks)

MeasureTime frame
Beta cell function, insulin sensitivity and indices indicative of muscle metabolic health (muscle fibre type, intra-myocellular fat content, oxidative capacity and capillary density) of Prediabetic Indian (18-60 years)Timepoint: Pre and Post(12 weeks) interevention.
