Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All adult ( >18 years) patients presenting with clinical diagnosis of ileal perforation who undergo ileostomy AND All patients willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients unwilling to participate in the study; Patients with carcinoma as etiology leading to stoma formation; Patients operated elsewhere before presentation; Patients death during the study.

Prospective observation of complications in patients who undergo temporary ileostomy in the emergencyTimepoint: 04 months from discharge OR stoma closure, whichever is earlier

MeasureTime frame
Quality of Life in patients who undergo temporary ileostomy in the emergencyTimepoint: QoL assessment at 01 and 03 months after ileostomy creation OR stoma closure if it occurs before 03 months
