Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A)Should have played one of the following sports 1. Basketball 2. Football 3. Handball 4. Hockey B) Recruitment of participant with shoe sizes between UK 7-10

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The participants will be excluded from the study with the following criteria 1. The individuals with any injury to the lower limb in the past 6 months. 2. The individuals with any surgery to the lower limb in the last 6 months. 3. Presence of ankle instability

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Kinematic measures: 1. Knee flexion (angles) 2. Knee valgus (angles) 3. Hip flexion (angles) 4. Touch down- region of initial contact and the sequence of events that follow it. Plantar pressure: 1. Average plantar pressure (N/cm2) 2. Peak plantar pressure (N/cm2) Timepoint: 3 days per person

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Spatial and temporal parameters: 1. Cutting width (m) - the distance between the planted leg and the contralateral leg. 2. Cutting time (sec) - Time elapsed between planting of foot until the leg leaves the ground. 3. Approach speed (m/s) - The speed just before the cutting maneuver is performed. Timepoint: 3 days per person
