Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with acute ischemic stroke proven by NCCT Head/MRI presenting within 48 hours of onset. Patients above 18 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with head injury Patients with previously diagnosed cardiovascular diseases. Patients with serum electrolyte abnormality.

To study QTc and T wave changes in patients with acute ischemic strokeTimepoint: at admission then at 24 hours and at 48 hours
