Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: all patients more than 18 years who underwent upper GI endoscopy in endoscopy unit of the department of surgery jipmer during study period

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have already undergone UGE in the past for upper gastrointestinal complaints and have a definitive diagnosis. 2. Patients who had previous therapeutic UGE or surgical treatment for any upper gastrointestinal conditions. 3. Procedure abandoned due to any reason (inadequate preparation, uncooperative patient)
