Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: SUFFERRING FROM SPONTANEOUS SAH

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients/ relatives refusal to be included in study 2. Severe uncontrolled hypertension 3. Contraindications for putting TEE probe such as history of swallowing difficulty,coagulopathy,oesophageal surgery,stricture or lesions. 4. Patients with stunned myocardium/ valvular heart diseases / Coronary artery disease/ significant arrhythmias/Left ventricular dysfunction 5. Patients with end organ dysfunction including renal and hepatic disorders

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Maintenance of hemodynamic stability as measured by Mean Arterial Pressure intraoperatively.Timepoint: Intraoperatively, during the surgery.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Incidence of vasospasm, ventilator days, ICU days, Hospital stay, in-hospital mortality and neurological outcome (measured by Extended Glasgow Outcome Scale) at 1 and 3 monthsTimepoint: 1 month post-surgery 3 months post-surgery
