Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
This will be the first study to employ palatal presuturing as a means to prevent surgical blood loss to the best of our knowledge. If proven effective, 1. The technique will enable clinicians to minimize blood loss during the Free Gingival Graft surgery 2. It will provide evidence for the described precise protocol for the greater palatine compression sutureTimepoint: Baseline - reduction in bleeding at the time of surgery (Day 1) No or minimal bleeding from palatal site in the first week (upto 7 days) Uneventful complete palatal wound healing by 21 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Assessment of Palatal healing Assessment of duration of surgeryTimepoint: Day 0, Day 7, Day 14 and Day 21
