Intervention1: Aloevera solution: Aloevera solution 10ml for 1min twice daily for 21 days after 1st visit Control Intervention1: chlorhexidine: 0.2% chlorhexidine 10ml for 1 minute twice daily for 21

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Systemically healthy participants with 20 natural teeth with 5 teeth per quadrant; 2) Patients with fixed orthodontic appliances who are under regular oral hygiene maintenance

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Probing pocket depth >3 mm, (2) Antimicrobial therapy 1 month prior to the study; (3) Using dentifrices or mouth rinses with anti-inflammatory properties; (4) Smokers and tobacco consumers
