Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Change in leptin-adiponectin ratio and homeostasis model assessment â?? insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) at baseline and after 12 weeks of angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (ramipril), angiotensin receptor blocker(telmisartan), calcium channel blocker(amlodipine) and thiazide (hydrochlorothiazide) monotherapy within and between each groupTimepoint: 12 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Correlation between leptin-adiponectin ratio and homeostasis model assessment â?? insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) in each group.Timepoint: 12 weeks
